Tatsumi Johnson

CEO/Co-Owner

Coach Johnson has her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from CSU in San Bernardino. She has 36 years of dance experience in jazz, ballet, and hip hop and 32 years of cheerleading. Coach Johnson has been choreographing professionally for 30 years. She choreographed for several known R&B band artists in the 90’s. She has traveled and performed throughout the U.S. and overseas. She was head coach for 4 years at Mt. San Antonio College 3 time national champions unified squad (cheer & dance) and 3 years head coach for national rank Citrus College coed cheer and dance team. She has taught clinics at several Junior All American cheerleading cities in the San Gabriel Valley area. She choreographed competition routines in cheer & dance at different high schools through out Los Angeles County and San Bernardino County. Coach Johnson has trained a lot of students who continued on professionally in the field of dance or cheer. Such as, Clipper Girls, Laker Girls, San Diego Charger cheerleaders, staff members for USA & UCA and coaching cheer or dance at different high schools and even all star teams like Shelby, Co-Owner of Fierce All Stars. Coach Johnson recently choreographed the musical “Westside Story” for a local high school in West Covina in 2007. She is a USA staff member for 5 years and judges for USA, American Championships & Jamfest. She is CPR, First Aid and AACCA certified. She is also a member of USASF.

Patrice Vance

CFO/Co-Owner

Ms. Vance has 20 years of experience in San Gabriel Valley Junior All-American Football and Cheer Youth Organization. She is currently the Jr. Gremlin President of the National League. She was also a former president of the Walnut/Diamond Bar cowboys Football & Cheer program. She has been an executive business woman for 20 years at a well known communication company. She uses her business experience to make CCG a more successful Corporate Company. She is not new to our family her daughter Mia was on CCG team the first two years when the company started. She is CPR, First Aid and AACCA certified. We welcome Ms. Vance on her second year with the CCG family.

Mia Vance

Head Coach Junior Cheer & Office Manager

Coach Vance has 16 years of cheer experience and several years of hip hop. She was on CCG all star Sr. cheer for two years, and then was on her high school cheer squad for another two years. Miss Vance is graduating from Cal State Fullerton in criminal justice in December of 2008. She was on Fullerton college co-ed team, Orange Coast College all girl & Orange Crush pro team too. She is now an advisor for a high school spirit program and she also is coaching for the first time for CCG. She is certified CPR & First Aid. We welcome her back to the CCG family!

Melanie Cooke

Head Coach of Senoir Coed Hip Hop & Asst. Office Manager

Coach Cooke has been coaching and choreographing for 13 years. She has experience in hip hop (with influence of jazz & ballet) for 26 years. She has choreographed for high schools through out Los Angeles County. Was on our open hip hop team (Hype Addiction) for 1 year and will be the asst. coach this year for Hype Addiction. She started CCG hip hop program back in 2004 and since then she was able to keep our hip hop program national champions and placing 3rd 2007 and also receiving 4th 2008 at Dance Worlds. She is CPR & First Aid certified. She is going on her 7th year with the Jaguars.

Tsutae Johnson

Head Coach Tiny Cheer & Tiny Hip Hop

Coach Johnson has 12 years of gymnastic experience, 9 years of dance and 7 years of cheerleading. She is a USA staff member for 3 years. She is the head coach of two high school cheer teams and a song team. She is also on the CCG open all girl cheer squad level 6. This is her first year as a coach and she is CPR, First Aid & AACCA certified. She was a member of Open Hip Hop for 2 years.

Joshua Henry

Head Coach of Junior Hip Hop

Coach Henry has 8 years of cheer experience and 6 years of dance. He's been with California Cheer Gym for 8 years and have been in our Hip Hop program for 5 years. Joshua is also one of our tumbling coaches. He acts in the play productions Oliver, and the Wizard at Citris College. Joshua is currently on our Senior Coed and Int'l Hip Hop teams. Coach Henry is also our dance program competition music composer. He's CPR and First Aid certified. We welcome him as a first year coach at CCG.

Danny Sandavol

Asst. Coach Junior Cheer & Tumbling Coach

Coach Sandavol has 10 years of cheer leading experience. He was with Long Beach City College for one year and is currently on Glendale College Cheer Team. He's also an actor in Bring It On parts 3 and 5, and Fire It Up. Danny is a USA Staff member for 4 years. We would like to welcome Coach Sandavol to our CCG family.
